Real IT Problems, Solved Remotely
We regularly hear the same thing from new clients: "I've already paid someone else and it's still not fixed." Here are a few real examples of problems we've resolved — with permission from the clients involved — to show exactly what remote IT support looks like in practice.
A Three-Year Microsoft 365 Lockout, Resolved Remotely
Home User • Microsoft 365 • Account Recovery
The Problem
A client came to us after three years of being locked out of critical parts of his Microsoft 365 account. Two accounts had become linked at some point in the past, and the primary account was tied to a former company he could no longer access. Every time Microsoft tried to send a security verification code, it went to that inaccessible former-company account — creating a loop with no obvious way out.
He had already paid several IT specialists to try to fix it. Each attempt failed, and the problem remained unresolved for three years.
Why It Was Hard to Fix
Most Microsoft 365 specialists are set up to work with businesses through official admin channels — when an individual has a personal account tangled up with an old employer's tenant, standard account-recovery processes don't apply cleanly. This is exactly the kind of edge case that gets passed around between support teams without ever reaching a resolution.
What We Did
We approached the account structure differently rather than repeating the same recovery steps that had already failed. Working through Microsoft's account and tenant relationships methodically, we identified the specific link causing the verification loop and worked through it step by step until the account was fully separated and accessible again — all done remotely, without needing to see the device in person.
The Result
The client regained full access to his Microsoft 365 account after three years of being locked out. In his own words:
"Many Microsoft specialists only work with businesses, but Kyle was happy to help me as an individual and provided excellent — if not better — advice. I'm extremely grateful and would highly recommend him."
— Chris Tessler

The Situation
A client who had used our services a few years previously got back in touch when a new IT issue came up. Having already experienced our approach once, he knew what to expect — and came back rather than shopping around.
What We Did
As with all our remote support, we diagnosed and resolved the issue via a secure remote session, with clear communication throughout and an upfront price agreed before any work began.
The Result
"I used Elliott a few years back and needed his help again. Very helpful and a fair price, I would definitely recommend, thanks again."
— Andrew Forster

What These Cases Have in Common
Fresh Approach to Stuck Problems
When a problem has already defeated other attempts, repeating the same steps rarely works. We look at the underlying structure of the issue rather than following a generic troubleshooting script.
Genuinely Remote, Genuinely Effective
Every case above was resolved entirely remotely — no site visit, no waiting for an appointment slot, no travel charges built into the price.
Clear Pricing, No Surprises
Cost is agreed before work starts. If something can't be fixed remotely, we say so upfront rather than charging for time that won't help.
